Me:

For many years I did freelance product, legal, portrait, conference and event photography.  I also worked for commercial studios and did photography for a Crown corporation.  Occasionally I would do a wedding - always saying to myself, “Never again!.”   Now, I mostly take photos for myself and sell prints to those interested or, if an offer comes up, I may take on a client if the job interests me.

For a while I taught a photography interest course at McGill University.  One might say I have an interest in photography. 

Most photography at this site was taken with Nikon equipment; either Nikon 35mm film SLR or Nikon digital SLR cameras, and now Nikon mirrorless cameras.  I have included photos taken with my medium format Hasselblad cameras and with my large format 4x5” view cameras.  Most of my film based photographs have not been converted to digital.  I’m not too motivated - its a lot of work and who wants to do work?

I collect antique cameras.  If you want to give an oldie a good home, let me know.  Click here or on “My Camera Collection” in the navigation bar above to see part of my collection.  Eventually I will make an on line photo catalogue of the collection for this site.  I have been packing up my house and getting it ready for sale, so no not much photography and no catalogue for now.

Us:

In April of 2011 I located Sharon K., who I was seeing my first year at university.  We started having nightly calls and after three months she said I could visit, so I drove 620 kilometers to see her.  I visited again in October.  In December we went to Florida for the winter and came back engaged.  We are living in Ontario.  For more about us click here.
